![]() It's battle royale, yeah? Each class goes a-looting for weapons (such wizardly staples as staves, swords, and, er, shotguns), armour, health potions, and all that, so they have some common ground. ![]() Then load into an airship, fly over the map, and rain down to loot and murder. So! Pick your wizard: Warrior, Engineer, Assassin, Mage, or Hunter. Are you a bad enough wizard to murder like 99 other wizards? Throwing magical class abilities into the battle royale mix might make for interesting team-building in squads, so I'm curious about this one myself. Hi-Rez's Paladins spin-off, which previously bore the remarkably cheeky name Paladins Battlegrounds, has now properly launched onto Steam Early Access, letting all play for free. You can use it to acces a lot of high ground and to get even further away from enemies after you've already teleported.Take the class-based wizard shooter action of Paladins, riff on the battle royale modes whizzing all over games these days, and bish bash bosh you've got Realm Royale. This card is cheap and opens up a ton of options for Dredge. I'd also add Expansive Vault 1 to your loadout. Only place a portal in advance if you know you're about to get chased by multiple enemies or if you're going to stay in a certain area for longer periods of time. When you get jumped, go behind cover to buy yourself some time, place down your portal and get out of there. Just make sure you always have cover nearby. Being more aggressive allows you to deal a ton of damage and use your strong zoning capabilities to create more space for your team.Īs long as you have Hangman's Ire 4/5 you don't always need to have a portal ready next to you. If you get closer to enemies you can negate the downsides of the low projectile speed to make good use of the insane AoE dps that Dredge's weapon can offer. You should be more aggressive with Dredge.
